Eleni Stylianides
FCCA
Eleni Stylianidou is a Certified Professional Trainer by HRDA (ΣΕΠ002326). She is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the UK. Eleni began her career as an accountant and auditor at an audit firm in Cyprus in 1993, where she remained until 2000. She also teaches at the P.S. Institute of Accountancy Ltd, where she eventually took over as a director and owner, successfully transforming it into an established educational institution (approved by the Ministry of Education) specializing in financial matters and accounting and tax learning products (ADIT, ACCA, LCCI). Additionally, she is an approved ACCA trainer with over 27 years of experience, providing professional courses to students and adults, preparing them to pass professional exams. Furthermore, she has taught tax and accounting subjects at the University of Cyprus as an external collaborator for several years. In recent years, she has been providing multi-enterprise and single-enterprise educational seminars on accounting and taxation.
Christopher Kazantzis
Christopher has a Bachelor degree in Applied Accounting (BSc Hons) from the Oxford Brookes University and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Corporate Risk and Security Management from the University of Southampton. He went on to become a Fellow Member of the ACCA (FCCA) and also a Certified Professional Forensic Accountant (CPFAcct) and member of the Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants (ICFA). He has worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK and in Cyprus, before switching to a teaching career specialising in Audit and Management. He has been teaching ACCA courses since 2010, and also teaches audit at the University of Cyprus since 2018. In 2021 he set up Vantage Professional Training which specialises in specific ACCA courses.
Maria Nicolaou
Maria Nicolaou is a seasoned audit and assurance professional with more than 20 years of professional and extensive experience in advisory and leadership roles. Maria’s career started back in 1997, and she commenced employment with KPMG in Cyprus, back in 2000 and served as a Director in KPMG until 2017. As an Assurance Director, she was heading the Audit and Assurance and Global Financial Outsourcing Departments and ensuring ISQC1 compliance. Maria manages financial reporting, budgeting, project engagements, and client satisfaction, and she works on European projects with the UN and European Commission. She oversaw financial reporting, project management, and business development, and audited public companies across various sectors. Maria has wide experience in designing and conducting internal trainings pertaining to professional topics such as IFRS, ISAs, Audit methodology, ISQC1, CaseWare working papers and other related subjects having strong technical skills in IFRS, auditing standards, and regulatory frameworks. She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (FAAT), a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and a Member of the Auditing Standards Committee of ICPAC.
Aleena Kareem
Aleena Kareem is an ACA-UK and FCCA-UK with an MSc. in Sustainable Finance and Accounting. She is a Business Reporting expert, and an International Tutor and Trainer (Face-to-face and Online). With over 15 years of experience, she is currently the Co-founder & Lead Trainer at SHAOOR Trainings and Consultancy, an SDGs-focused social enterprise, and a Trainer/Tutor at SKANS School of Accountancy. As an ACCA Expert Tutor, Aleena has delivered 23 international in-person and over 58 online training sessions for students and fellow lecturers. She specialises in conducting technical training on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), International Accounting Standards (IASs), and Sustainability Reporting. Aleena has worked as a Consultant/Trainer for Financial Management of MSMEs and Youth Entrepreneurship program by NBDP – SMEDA and Aga Khan Rural Support Program; and Public Financial Management Program, by Provincial Governments of Pakistan and World Bank. She has been recognised for successfully developing and executing strategic education initiatives focussing on ACCA growth and partnership development. She is skilled at managing and growing relationships with universities, learning providers, and key stakeholders to drive recruitment, retention, and academic support. She has a proactive and innovative approach to supporting students through tailored tuition programmes.
Rebecca N Ioannou
Rebecca holds the following qualifications: BSc in Business & Management, Graduate Diploma in Law, Bar Vocational Course. She is also a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and of the Cyprus Bar Association and is a CIArb accredited mediator. Rebecca has also completed an executive Master Program in Negotiation at Harvard Law School and a teacher training course in Mindfulness (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, to introduce in the workplace) at the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation. Rebecca has been teaching since 2009 both at a Professional level for the following ACCA modules: Corporate & Business Law and Strategic Business Leader, as well as at Academic level for qualifications such as BA in Accounting & Finance, with notable success in all the modules she teaches (including 100% pass rate) and has repeatedly been nominated for ‘Best Teacher’ by her students. In addition, Rebecca has professional experience as a corporate lawyer in legal practice in a reputable law firm (and member of Legal 500) and was one the co-founders of INVICTUS, an approved (Gold) ACCA tuition provider, as well as its Head of Faculty and project mentor (ACCA/BSc of Oxford Brookes University).
Georgia Sophocleous

Georgia Sophocleous is a highly experienced finance and accounting professional with a strong background in financial reporting, managerial accounting, and corporate training. She is a certified vocational trainer accredited by the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (AnAD) and has been actively involved in preparing candidates for professional qualifications such as ACCA, both locally and internationally. Georgia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance from Wartburg College in Iowa, USA, and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Her work also includes the authorship of specialized training materials in finance and management.
