Financial accounting certification (FA)
Pearson has signed an agreement to transfer LCCI qualifications to The Institute of Accountants and Bookkeepers (IAB), starting 1/10/2023. More information with regards to the exams (dates, deadlines, locations, cost, syllabus, etc) will be announced at a later stage by IAB.
Taking into account our long experience (over 30 years) in preparing people for LCCI as well as ACCA exams we looked for an alternative certification.
After our research we concluded that the subjects of ACCA’s ‘Financial Accounting (FA)’ program are equal to and possibly superior to LCCI Level 3 (Higher).
This certification is based on the needs of a modern accounting office. After attending this accounting course participants will acquire knowledge and skills that are necessary for the day-to-day operation of a company’s accounting records. Additionally, it will help learners to develop their ability to prepare and interpret accounts for different types of businesses, according to basic accounting principles. It also develops the ability of learners to apply basic principles to financial decision-making.
This qualification is suitable for those working or intending to work in the financial industry and aim to excel in the organization they work for. In addition, this course provides the appropriate resources for further studies in the financial sector (academic diploma or ACCA) and offers exemption from 1 of the 13 ACCA subjects.
Financial Accounting is an internationally recognized certificate recognised by employers/organizations in the business market as equal to and possibly higher than LCCI Level 3 (Higher).
